Kick Off - The Referee tosses a coin and the team that win the coin toss decides which goal to attack in the first half or to take the kick off. If the team that won the coin toss chooses to take the kick off the opponent chooses which goal to attack first.

During kickoffs - All players must be in their own half of the field, except the player taking the kick off. They may be in the half so that they can kick the ball backwards to a teammate

  • Opponents must be 10 yards away from the ball

  • Ball must be stationary 

  • The referee gives the signal 

  • The ball is in play when it is kicked and clearly moves

  • A goal may be scored again the opponents from the kick off

    • If the ball is scored against the kickers team directly from the kick off a corner kick is awarded

  • If the player taking the kick-off touches the ball again before another player, an indirect free kick. Unless it is a handball then a Direct Free Kick
